WinCut, WinCut Pro and WinCut Pro 2 are the companion Sample Editors to their respective WinRec versions. They can of course handle WinRec's 16-bit DVSM samples between 8 kHz and 49 kHz, although themselves cannot create these samples. Uncertain of the differences between the WinCut versions, WinCut allows the usual Sample Editor functions such as cut, copy and paste. A loop function is also present, as are effects as per WinRec. There were various sub version across the series.
