Musicom by Compo was introduced in 1993. Designed for the Atari Falcon, it is a 16-bit stereo D2D Sampler capable of sampling frequencies from 8.2 kHz to 49.2 kHz. It can sample at 8-bit mono, 8-bit stereo and 16-bit stereo. Musicom 2 introduced in 1994, again was a 16-bit stereo D2D Sampler but added 2 track D2D recording and editing, straying into the realms of an early DAW for the Falcon. It can sample at 8-bit mono, 8-bit stereo, 16-bit mono and 16-bit stereo, at sampling frequencies from 7.4 kHz to 49.2 kHz. Via a digital interface such as the Steinberg FDI or SoundPool SPDIF, it supports sample frequencies at 44.1 or 48 kHz respectively.
