STOS Maestro and STOS Meastro Plus by Mandarin Software were introduced in 1992. They were designed as an extension to STOS Basic to add the abilty to play sampled sounds. STOS Maestro Plus was simply STOS Maestro packaged with a hardware sampling cartridge, but the Sample Editor was the same. They are 8-bit mono Samplers, capable of sampling frequencies between 5 kHz to 32 kHz. Of course two version were produced, STOS Maestro and STOS Maestro Plus, irrespective of sub versions.
