Master Sound by Software Horizons was introduced in 1989, and was developed by the same programmer behind Pro Sound Designer, Ferry Rawasi. The GUI resemblance is clearly evident. It was later licensed by Pandaal, and subsequently Microdeal (certainly for the the Amiga). It is an 8-bit Sampler which is capable of mono sampling frequencies between 5 kHz and 20 kHz via it's hardware cartridge, developed by 2 Bit Systems.
