Pro Series 12 by AVR (Audio Visual Research) also known as 2 Bit Systems, was released in 1990. 2 Bit Systems were the same people behind the Master and Replay series of Samplers licensed by Microdeal. The same people that were responsible for the AVR (Audio Visual Research) sample file format, likely introduced with Pro Series 12. The GUI is much the same as the Replay series of Samplers pre Stereo Replay. It is a full 12-bit mono Sampler, capable of sampling frequencies of up to 48 kHz.
