Sample Wizard STE by Galactic was introduced in 1990. It is an 8-bit stereo Sampler for the Atari STE, capable of oversampling and frequencies of up to 50 kHz, much like Tommy Software's Sound Merlin. The hardware ADC plugged into the Atari's parallel port, and is a good companion to Galactic's Digit Tracker. There was also a TT version entitled Sample Wizard TT, which offered the equivalent 8-bit stereo sampling for the Atari TT.

Overview

  • Name: Sample Wizard STE / Sample Wizard TT
  • Type: Sampler / Sample Editor
  • Sample Format: 8 bits
  • Sample Rate: 20 to 50 kHz
  • Sound Quality: Mono / Stereo
  • Hardware ADC: Yes
  • ADC Connection Type: Parallel Port
