Soundfiler by Drumware was first introduced in 1987. Again lile Soundworks, these were a series of individually tailored MIDI Sample Editors. Drumware initially released Soundfiler S612 aka 'Soundfiler ST', followed by Soundfiler X7000 / S700 and Soundfiler S900 in 1988. They of course catered for the Akai S612, Akai S700, Akai and Akai S900 range of 8 to 12-Bit Samplers.
