Zero-X / Zero-X 2
Zero-X by Copson Data was introduced in 1995. It was designed for the Atari Falcon, but does run on all Atari TOS computers. It is a 16-BIT stereo Sampler capable of sampling frequencies of of up to 48 kHz. Notable features include the ability of transferring samples via SCSI and MIDI Sample Dump, conforming to the SDS standard, Akai SCSI D2D (Zero-X 2 and Beatsplit. There were reportedly a few versions of Zero-X:
- 68000 for all Atari ST/STE/Mega models
- 68030 for TT and Falcons
- 68030+68882 for TT and Falcons with co-processors (FPU)
- Zero-X 2 (which seemingly works with all Atari TOS models, certainly ST/E, Mega and Falcon)
