WinRec Pro, like WinRec is believed to have been introduced in 1994 by developer Andreas Binner, and licesnsed by MAXON Computer. Similarly for the Atari Falcon, it is a 16-bit stereo D2D Sampler capable of sampling frequencies from 8 kHz to 49 kHz. It had more effects than WinRec, including borg, echo, chorus, flanger, graphic equaliser, hall, harmoniser, karaoke, pitch bend, noise limiter and soft limiter. Up to three effects can be combined with your samples. It came bundled with WinCut Pro, which effectively is an early DAW, 525 Sample Convertor and Jingle, a sample player. WinRec Pro 2 followed circa 1996, and offered support for both Steinberg and Soundpool ADCs. WinRec Pro 2 offers support for DVSM, AVR, SND, AU, WAV and AIFF file formats.
