WinRec is believed to have been introduced circa 1994 by developer Andreas Binner. Again designed for the Atari Falcon, it is a 16-bit stereo D2D Sampler capable of sampling frequencies from 8 kHz to 49 kHz. Samples can be saved in WinRec's DVSM file format, compressed or uncompressed, with or without Digital Signal Processing (DSP) effects. Effects include chorus, echo, reverb and harmoniser. There are also karaoke and equaliser features. WinRec came in various sub versions.
