Sample Master Plus by AVR (Audio Visual Research) also known as 2 Bit Systems, was released circa 1991. It is an 8-bit mono Sampler capable of frequencies of up to 25 kHz, using the AVR file format. The GUI is very much the same as the Replay series of Samplers pre [Stereo Replay], which were of course also developed by 2 Bit Systems. The software is compatible with the ST(E) range of computers, and came 'bundled' with the 'Atari Application Series' of tutorials, specifically 'An Introduction to Sound & Music' tutorial. This tutorial also came with Atari's Music Maker and Music Maker Plus.
