Turbosynth by Digidesign was another of their software releases to be ported in 1989 from thre Mac. It is a MIDI Sample Editor that offered modular synthesis. With Turbosynth you can create Wavetables, and edit samples to send via MIDI to the likes of the Akai S700, Akai X7000, Akai S900, Akai S950, Korg DSS-1, Korh DSM-1, Ensoniq EPS, Ensoniq Mirage, Casio FZ-1, Casio FZ-10M, Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000, Roland S-10, Roland S-220, Roland MKS-100, Roland S-50, Roland S-550 and Roland S-330. It also supported the MIDI Sample Dump Standard and provided drivers for 12 and 16-bit Samplers.
