Scribble Synth
Scribble Synth by Electronic Cow was released in 1998. Not a Sample Editor in the truest sense, Scribble Synth was developed for all TOS computers. It allows the creation of your own sounds, literally creating your own 8 or 16-bit sounds using the technique called 'additive synthesis'. A sound, or scribble, can be drawn and edited and saved in it's native SCR file format, or exported as an AVR, AIFF or SPL sample file up to 16-bit at a rate of 50 kHz. Sounds can also be dumped to your external Sampler via MIDI SDS, or Akai S900 / S950 standards.
