Wibbly Wave by Electronic Cow was released in 1996. Not a Sample Editor in the truest sense, moreover Wibly Wave is a Wavetable Generator. It is a simple in it's design, and is considered a cut down verion of Electronic Cow's Sound Chip Synth, which allows the creation of Samples in 8-bit, up to a frquency of 2 kHz according to the manual. Sounds can be created via preset waveforms such as square, pulse, sawtooth and triangle. Samples can be exported as an AVR sample.
