The Superb Sample Editor aka 'SuperSam', was released circa 1994 by Daniel Hastings as Shareware. It is a Sampler and D2D recorder for the Atari Falcon, which allows both mono and stereo sampling using the Falcon's internal ADC. It is capable of 8 and 16-bit sampling, up to a frequency of 50 kHz. It can handle a range of sample file formats including AVR, WAV, VOC, AU, SND, IFF / 8SVX, SPL, AIFF, DVSM and SAM. Samples can be re-sampled, converted between mono and stereo, 8 and 16-bit, and includes cut, paste, reverse, fade and panning editing features to name a few. Full features such as Save and D2D functionality could be unlocked by registering, or if you can get hold of a key. That said, the version that seems to be available for download across the internet is the un-registered version, v1.08.
