AudioCreate by Simon Dehaese is believed to have been introduced in 1995 as Shareware. It is a French Sampler designed for all TOS machines. There were three versions developed irrespective of sub versions, AudioCreate, AudioCreate 2 and of course AudioCreate 3, the last version being v3.01. In the latter version, it is capable of both 8 and 16-bit sampling, 16-bit being Falcon only, although both ST and TT can convert 8-bit samples and playback at 16-bit. The STE and TT is capable of handling 8-bit samples at frequencies of up to 50 kHz, whereas the Falcon is capable of 16-bit sampling at up to 49.17 kHz. AudioCreate v3.01 can also utilise D2D sampling on the Falcon. Being Shareware, no hardware ADC was included, but commercial hardware can be used, such as Clarity 16 for the Falcon or Replay cartridges for the ST(E) and TT range. Various effects can be added to your samples, such as echo, amplify, fade in/out and inverse.
