Pro Sample Editor by JCD Midi Software is believed to have been first released circa 1987. It is a French Universal MIDI Sample Editor for the Akai S900, Roland S550, S330, S50, Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 and Ensoniq EPS Samplers. It can Sample Dump to both the Sequential Circuits Prophet VS and Kawai K5 Synthesisers. Pro Sample Editor handles samples in the SMP sample file format, and the last known version is believed to be v3.04.
